Ten on Tuesday

1. I am now addicted to the sliced, dried mangoes that Costco sales. So much so that whilst at church this morning, I saw a picture on a wall that had the same blue and yellows and it reminded me of the bag the mangoes come in. And then I wanted some. Addict.

2. Andy’s initials are ALS and we have a daughter representing each letter- Ashleigh, Lauren, and Sarah. Totally coincidental. I wonder if they were all boys if it would have been Adam, Luke and Samuel. Probably not.

3. Today is my brother-in-law’s birthday. Too bad he doesn’t read my blog, otherwise I might say nice things about him on his birthday.

4. Confession: I stay up way too late.

5. Do you ever wonder what the difference between yellow and pink lemonade is besides the color? I do.

6. Andy was making funny grunting sounds as he ate breakfast this morning. So I teased him and called him a moo. I meant to call him a cow but the sound came out first. And I just realized how that will really only be funny to me.

7. I needed to make some muffins for a prayer breakfast I attended last weekend. After a quick search on allrecipes I decided on these Banana Crumb Muffins. So long as you like banana flavored breads, you should really consider making them for yourself this week. Yum, yum, yum.

8. Or for your husbandly.

9. Confession #2: I really don’t like the Play-Doh colors being mixed. Drives. Me. Crazy. CRAZEEEE. Mix the watercolors, mix the finger paints, but leave the Play-Doh in it own unique color state, k?

10. I am trying to sale a few things on Craigslist. Call it my spring cleaning, if you will. If you are in need of a single Kelty Joyrider Jogging Stroller, it’s in great condition. It has served us well, I think.

It’s a house rule not to mix the playdoh colors.

Ditto on the Play Doh thing.
As I have intro-ed it to the toddlers, I have purchased multiple “party packs” that have the tiny amounts of Play Doh in them. Then, when we play, we only play with 1 color. Yesterday, we played with only the orange ones. Plenty of fun, no color mixing.

I seriously never thought I’d find anyone who feels the same way. I think I love you. ;)

Me too on the play-do thing. And I laughed about the moo thing, and I so needed another banana something recipe as I have a stock in the freezer just waiting to be made into a fab dessert. We just can’t eat them fast enough.

not only do I not like the playdoh mixing, my boys don’t either.
All the years of play doh and the buckets of play doh toys, any mixing was purely accidently caused great distress.
AND the playdoh toys were all still in original boxes.
yea, we’re freaks like that. ;) and stay up to late…. etc etc.. it’s no wonder I like you. :D

Can’t speak to the play-doh thing, but ooohhh I love the mango from Costco. It’s like a food group for us. We take it everywhere, work, camping, travel. YUMMY!

I LOVE CL. I buy and sell on there all the time!! I think it’s fantastic! On initials - mine were CRA - when I married Larry I became CRAB. Nice, huh?

My sleep deprived mind thought #6 was laugh-out-loud funny. Sounds like things I say on a regular basis!

I’ve wondered before if selling things on Craigslist works. I know friends that have done it and been thrilled, and my sister did it, too. But she said people would call and then never show up. One of my pet peeves is waiting at home for someone to come look at something/repair something/whatever… only to have them never show up. I hope your experience goes well! Then maybe I’ll venture into the world of virtual sales.
