Does she look normal colored or like an alien?
We have been using a new program to post-process our photos (read: Make them look nicer! More Colorful! Sharper!) but when I printed out a photo yesterday, my results were nothing short of awful. Her skin tones appeared bland and the dress color muted. I’m trying to figure out if it is 1. My printer or 2. My monitor.
Or maybe it’s just me. Perhaps my eyes need to be adjusted. In the past month I have had conjunctivitus twice… I think that mystery can be solved pretty easily- I bought new contacts and my eyes are sensitive (um, let that read overly sensitive!) to the synthetic materials in these particular contacts.
Hmm. Be back soon when I figure this out.

oh how i have missed you. No she does not look like an alien whatsoever. But…hmmmm I see what you mean about the muted tones.
She looks a bit muted to me, but I always love every single photo you take, so I would probably see this and then try to get my own photos to be all muted too
I also love the photo of Lauren. She is so gorgeous (and I’ll bet lots of fun, too)

The color is off to me… I like whatever magic actions you were using in the other PS better. But you’ll figure it out I’m sure!
Well, she doesn’t at all look like an alien…it’d be hard to look that way witha s cute as she is. But, the colors are not as vivid as your other postings. Muted is the right word and on the grey side of the scale.

The tones are off, but she is beautiful, then again I know my monitor is off… and icky and old.

and I agree that the colors are consistent with what you have posted before, but I would never say she looks anything like an alien!

The colors look a little off. Muted for sure (not enough light? Is your meter off?) but also a little green/grey. Some of that can be the reflection of the tablecloth on the cup (I know where that picture was taken, by the way! I had that same snack!) but if it happened with more pictures then something is afoot for sure! Can you restage a photo you have already taken to compare? I hope you figure it out!!

There is a green undertone to her skin. I don’t think it’s too much broccoli though. I think perhaps it’s a reflecion from the green tablecloth???? I don’t know - but I would try another picture before I dump the software or make major adjustments to it. Notice the cookie is normal color and the greenish color is only effecting her and the lace on her dress??
So sorry about your eyes. That isn’t fun. Glad you are back though. You have been missed. I am not a pro when it comes to photos but the picture does seem a little green. She is gorgeous in it though!
