1. Today, I feel ambitious.
2. Maybe because there will be a painter here in my bathroom in three hours.
3. Which means my room will be clean today.
4. We have these fruits in the house: bananas, apples, oranges, grapes and a cantaloupe.
5. Oh, how I do love cantaloupe.
6. You would not believe how ridiculously dirty the lenses of my glasses are.
7. If you interested in a weekend recap, we went to a fancy dinner on Friday night, I had two shoots on Saturday, went to a photography seminar thing on Sunday and had a family day yesterday. I mean, in case you are interested. I also had time to order a new lens, too. If only you knew how much sleep I lost over that decision.
8. Did I mention I need to clean my room this morning? I’m stalling.
9. Only two weeks until Canadian Cousin Katie comes to visit and we have some fun things in store- woo-hoo
10. A happy moment from the park yesterday:
Have a great Tuesday :)

You had one jampacked weekend! I think Lauren looks a lot like you in that picture.
you have a canadian cousin!?
I love my new zoom lens! We’ve been on a fruit kick too, nectarines are the one of choice around here..PS - You’ll have to share some girly sister stories with me;) Hint hint!
love the new lens, it looks like a rocket part.
I can’t repeat the word my husband said about you when I told him of the new lens. I will say he didn’t mean it, it was fueled completely by sheer Biblical Sized Jealousy. He said that is a “fantastic piece of glass.” And I am quite jealous myself. I want to see pictures of people’s PORES and the individual petals on flowers and the inside of your neighbor’s house as shot from your porch. Wait, not that last part.
susie, if you have dishwasher envy, i have lens envy!
I have lens envy.
did you get your lens, yet? have you been working out your wrist, ready to lug that big puppy?
It was great seeing you this past weekend, Susie!
SOOOOO sweet!
Everyone is getting stuff painted…I want to paint something now…
I *love* cantaloupe too, thanks for reminding me I have a fresh one in the fridge!
I’m stalling myself right now. But I hadn’t visited bloggy friends in awhile so housework be darned! heh-heh
M~
Yes, Susie does LOVE cantaloupe. In 1989 (or so) my husband and I took Susie and Christie on a vacation to the Grand Canyon. Susie had never been horseback riding before and was scared, anxious, laughing, crying, you name it. When all was said-and-done, we went out to eat. All Susie would eat was cantaloupe — first a full half cantaloupe, then a second half. Yup,,,one whole cantaloupe down the hatch. A few years later, bike riding down into Mammoth Valley. That’s another story for another blog entry! Love you Susie!!
LUV LUV LUV the photo.
