Meet Peggy. Peggy is my new, pink iPod mini. I wasn’t sure if I really wanted an iPod, but was sure that I needed a friend to join me on my afternoon runs. Peggy is perfect. She is sleek and chic and plays Kelly. Kelly who? Kelly Clarkson, of course. She is also my new running friend that plays in my iTunes- to help motivate me to run. I also discovered another running diva, quite by accident mind you, that I also like to run with: pants. I was planning on an afternoon yoga session and had my yoga pants on when I went for a run instead. No shorts to creep up like a pair of camper shorts do up the center of your thighs. Nope. Pants stay put and they made me run faster. Or Kelly’s songs did ("I’ll spread my wings and I’ll learn how to fly…"). or that I looked cool with Peggy on my hip. I dunno. Maybe my made up running friends are just getting my butt into gear. Guess what? 11 pounds to go. Almost there. Thanks friends (And the yacking fest that I had last week seemed to help a bit, too.).

Very cool! I was looking at these the other day and then I was looking at the even smaller one too. Blair has the big one, that holds a million songs, but that one is for church, so that he has whatever songs he needs with him at all times. I don’t need that much music with me at one time, but I think the little stick one would do me fine. So…do you like the mini? Was this your b-day present? How fun!! Oh, since I bought you shorts for running, you could take them back and get pants! I didn’t know until today which you wore, so now I know for next time! How are the orange shoes?
Ooops! The message above is from Crick..I am on Blair’s laptop and didn’t realize what the boxes said. lol.
so adorable i love it…..i am really glad you enjoyed it..! i love you!!!
I didn’t know it came in PINK! Jeff has the mini one and he loves it. He loves to download streaming music…and has 3 hrs on his, which only fills it 1/4. I admire your commitment to exercising, I still have yet to get motovated…how do you do it?
Peggy looks like just the right compliment for Miss Independent.
I got a Shuffle for Mother’s Day… the tiniest iPod… and I LOVE it. Someday we might go in for the gazillion gb one, but for now… we are happy shuff-shuff-shuffling along! (Matt has one, too).
I must say, Peggy is cute. Tee hee.
Welcome to the dark side, my child. Once you start down the Apple path, forever will it dominate your destiny! ;-P
I have a nameless silver mini — I could never commit to an actual color! My favorite thing to listen to — chick lit books downloaded from iTunes. Enjoy Peggy and the rest of your pals.
How cool to have this new friend Susie
I love it! Love the color and need one to motivate me for my walks
Good for you! For the running.
Did you like The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency? (I’m looking left at your just finished book.) I think I’m reading the fifth book in that series. I love Precious.

I think I need a pink mini iPod! Not that I run. For doing dishes, maybe?
