In 15 minutes, this baby in a Santa’s hat will have expired the phrase ’tis the season, so I thought I’d squeeze him in. Welcome Baby Adam and congratulations to the Swensons! Such a privelege to capture your little guy so fresh and new.
This is just a quick peek at the sweet newborn that visited me this past weekend! Baby C arrived just two days before Thanksgiving, making his family feel even more blessed over the Thanksgiving weekend! Enjoy!
If it weren’t for the chilly weather we have been experiencing here this past week, this family would have met me outdoors. But with two little ones in tow, we changed locations at the last minute. I met mom at playgroup at the end of the summer, we were fast friends - plus her oldest and my youngest are right about the same age. And also, fast friends. But in a different context if you know what I mean- little two year olds like to run!

My new friend Dana is expecting her sweet baby boy just short of a month now. She was over here last wee, so I quick grabbed my camera and snapped a few photos of her because she didn’t want anything ‘formal.’ Maybe it’s just me, but I see the expectant mama glow.

It’s that time of year to start thinking about caroling, stocking stuffers and holiday portraits! Catchlight Photography will be offering one morning of holiday mini-sessions this year to provide a quick and easy opportunity to update your friends and family with a new portrait in your Christmas cards! Last year’s mini portrait sessions were a big hit, so book a 20 minute appointment for Saturday, November 15th at Wegerzyn Gardens Metro Park today! Session slots begin at 9AM.

This past weekend, I had the privilege to capture these two sweet toddlers- and no, do not adjust your eyes, you are almost seeing double! Identical twins S & A surely gave me a workout, but I think we caught a few shots mom and dad will be happy with. Here’s a few of my favorites to enjoy!
This one is indicative of their individual excitement over being photographed- “A” was all smiles, and “S” was looking forward to the session being over. It’s all good, we got her smiling before the night was over!
